The delegation
Who we are and what we can do
The Goiás delegation represents the Business Confederation of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries in the state.
The Confederation
Founded in Lisbon on 4 June 2004, the CE-CPLP brings together business associations and companies from the Portuguese-speaking countries. It is the Community's economic pillar — the so-called fourth pillar, alongside political coordination, cooperation and language.
It represents Lusophone business at the Portuguese-Speaking Countries exhibition in Macao, and maintains local delegations where there is no affiliated association. Goiás is one of them.
The Confederation is chaired by Nelma Fernandes, whose term runs to 2026, pending renewal.
What the delegation does here
- Brings together companies in Goiás interested in the Lusophone market
- Organises business rounds with entrepreneurs from the other countries
- Connects Lusophone investors to opportunities in the state
- Enters into partnerships with local business bodies, without exclusivity
- Files CPLP seal applications on behalf of member companies
Neutral ground. The delegation works with every business body in the state on equal terms. It competes with none of them.
Partner companies
Companies from Goiás working with the delegation across the Portuguese-speaking market. The list grows as new members join.
Who we work with
The delegation works in partnership with Goiás business federations and public bodies, with no exclusivity to any of them.
